Welcome to Time for Chopin
Here his music began – here the first compositions of Fryderyk Chopin were created. It was right here, just next to Castle Square, that the young genius lived, studied, and composed, while the atmosphere of Warsaw in the second decade of the 19th century shaped his artistic sensibility, to which he remained faithful throughout his years in exile.
Today, in the heart of the Old Town, in a historic townhouse located in one of the most beautiful corners, the finest works of Chopin resound once again. The intimate concert hall allows us to experience this music in a uniquely personal way – the closeness of sound and the chamber atmosphere make every performance truly special. Our pianists, representing the highest level of the Polish school of Chopin interpretation, are able to captivate even the most demanding connoisseurs.
The pride of the venue is a restored Pleyel concert piano, brought back to life for the public – the very instrument of which Chopin used to say that only it could convey the full poetry of his works. During the intermission, we invite you to taste a traditional Polish beverage crafted according to an old recipe.
